The best Foreplay alternatives in 2026 are Atria, GetHookd, and Panoramata for ad research and swipe files, Meta Ad Library and TikTok Creative Center if you want research for free, and Peachblue, Motion, and Superads for analyzing your own ads. Foreplay is a research tool first, with analytics on your own ads (Lens) from its $175 Workflow plan, so the right alternative depends on which half of it you use.
Disclosure up front: we make Peachblue, one of the tools below. Every price was checked on the vendor's own pages between October 21 and 25, 2026, with monthly billing unless noted, and every entry says who that tool is genuinely right for, Foreplay included.
Why do teams look for Foreplay alternatives?
Mostly for what it costs to analyze their own ads, the platforms that analysis covers, and seats.
- Own-ad analytics starts at $175. Basic ($59) is research and swipe files. Lens, which analyzes your own ads, starts on Workflow with one brand ($50 for each extra brand), and Agency ($459) covers 10.
- Meta and TikTok only. Lens connects Meta and TikTok ad accounts. Google Ads and Amazon DSP spend stays outside it.
- Seats. Basic includes 1 user, Workflow 5, and Agency 10, at $20 for each extra user.
- Research is not judgment. A swipe file shows what other brands run. It does not say which of your own creatives earned their budget, or what to make next.
Who should stay on Foreplay
Creative strategists whose job is research and briefs. Foreplay's swipe file is the best known in the category, Discovery searches a large ad library, Spyder tracks competitors around the clock, and Briefs turns saved ads into briefs a team can work from. At $59 a month for research alone, few tools match it, and its MCP (from Workflow) brings the library and Lens data into Claude and ChatGPT.
What did you use Foreplay for?

- Writing briefs: Peachblue's Next Creative Brief, written from your own winners, or Atria, which generates briefs and scripts.

Peachblue: from your own ads to the next brief
Peachblue is a creative intelligence platform for brands and agencies. It connects to Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and Amazon DSP and gives every creative a written analysis across 31 dimensions, with copy suggestions and a composite score. Perceptual fingerprinting recognizes the same asset across ads and platforms, so one video is judged as one creative wherever it runs.
What it adds for a team leaving Foreplay:
- What to make next, from your own data. Intelligence finds what your winners share and turns it into a Next Creative Brief: concepts, proven hooks from your own headlines, do and don't rules, and a generation-ready prompt block for the image or video tool you already use.
- Your ad data in Claude. Agent Peach answers questions in the app, and the MCP server puts the same 23 tools into Claude. Foreplay's MCP serves its ad library and Lens; Peachblue's serves your own performance data across four platforms, Amazon DSP included.
- Brand Intel. Reddit monitoring for your brand, competitors, and topics, with sentiment and an editorial brief.
- Agency infrastructure. Multi-client workspaces, per-client reports with agency margin, and Amazon DSP flight pacing. It is the only creative analytics platform for agencies at self-serve pricing that covers Amazon DSP.
Plans: Starter $79 (Meta and TikTok), Pro $199 (adds Google Ads, Intelligence, Brand Intel, and MCP), Scale $499 (adds Amazon DSP), Power $799 (adds client-ready reports and pacing), and Agency priced to your client roster. Starter and Pro have a 7-day trial. Full matrix on pricing.
What Foreplay is known for that matters here: the swipe file. Teams that research heavily often keep a research tool beside Peachblue.
Choose Peachblue if Lens was the part you used, you buy beyond Meta and TikTok, or you run a client roster.
Atria: research and analytics in one subscription
Atria pairs an ad library and research tools (hooks, personas, review mining) with auto-tagging, generation of image ads, scripts, and briefs, and bulk launch to Meta. Raya, its AI strategist, works in Slack on every plan, and Radar grades each of your ads as scale, iterate, or leave alone. Performance analytics covers Meta and TikTok. Our Atria alternatives page covers it in depth.
Pricing: Core $159 a month (5 ad accounts), Plus $599, Business $1,199 ($129, $479, and $959 billed annually). Start free with 1,000 credits and no card. MCP on Core is capped at 600 calls a month.
Choose Atria if you want Foreplay's research and Lens's analytics in one tool, and you buy on Meta and TikTok.
Motion: analytics with inspiration built in
Motion's reports cover Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with unlimited seats and ad accounts. Inspo and competitor ad tracking sit in the same product, and MCP access is included from Starter. Its education ecosystem (newsletter, courses, events) is the best in the category, and much of it is free to everyone. See Motion alternatives for the wider field.
Pricing: Starter $999 a month for up to $50k of monthly ad spend; Pro and Growth on request. Free trial, no card.
Choose Motion if you want inspiration and own-ad analytics in one place and run YouTube or LinkedIn.
Superads: shareable reporting for less
One plan with unlimited users, AI tagging, a score per creative, an Ask AI assistant, and reports shared as live links or scheduled to Slack and email. It covers Google Ads and LinkedIn as well as Meta and TikTok, and boards can be set up per client.
Pricing: $150 a month, or $125 billed yearly, for up to $100k of monthly ad spend, plus $100 a month for each extra $100k. 14-day free trial.
Choose Superads if clear reporting on your own ads matters more than research.
GetHookd: a lower-cost Meta swipe file
GetHookd bills itself as the Facebook Ads Library "on steroids": a library of over 22 million active Meta ads to search and filter, boards and swipe files, and Clone Ads, which turns a winning ad into new statics. Browsing costs no credits; actions do. It covers Meta only, and TikTok is not in the library yet. MCP and API access come with some plans.
Pricing: Starter $29, Pro $49, Team $79, Agency $129 a month, about 35% less billed yearly. 7-day trial for $0.
Choose GetHookd if your research is Meta ads and price is the deciding factor.
Panoramata: competitor tracking across channels
Panoramata monitors competitors' ads on Meta, TikTok, Google Display, YouTube, and Pinterest, with boards and swipe files on top. It does not connect your own ad accounts. MCP is included on every plan, and the site says the platform is still in beta.
Pricing: Startup $99 a month (20 competitors, 6 months of history), Professional $179 (unlimited competitors and history), Advanced $399; $990, $1,790, and $3,990 billed yearly. Free signup with limited access.
Choose Panoramata if you track many competitors beyond Meta and TikTok.
The free options: Meta Ad Library and TikTok Creative Center
Meta Ad Library searches every ad currently running across Meta's apps by keyword or advertiser, and keeps a longer history for political and issue ads and for ads that ran in the EU or UK. TikTok Creative Center's Top Ads shows high-performing TikTok auction ads, filterable by region, objective, and format, and sortable by reach or CTR. Neither saves ads to boards or writes briefs.
Choose the free libraries if research is occasional and you can live without a swipe file.
How to decide
- You mostly saved and searched ads: GetHookd for Meta only, Atria if you also want generation, or the free libraries.
- You tracked competitors: Panoramata, or Motion if you want analytics in the same tool.
- You used Lens on your own ads: Peachblue, Motion, Superads, or Atria. Peachblue if you also buy Google Ads or Amazon DSP, run clients, or want the next brief written from your own winners.
- You came from MagicBrief: our MagicBrief alternatives guide maps where its users went.
Research and analysis are different jobs, and many teams pay for one tool of each. If you are choosing the analysis half, compare plans on Peachblue pricing, and read what creative intelligence is for what that half should do.
